About us
Bayen is a small Tunisian workshop convinced that memorising the Quran deserves well-made tools.
How it began
Bayen started in a small kitchen, around a first cover, a first thread and a first ruled line. We wanted a booklet that was sturdy, pleasant to write in and beautiful — and since we could not find one, we made it.
Even today every booklet passes through our hands: choosing the paper, setting the ruling, stitching the quires, gluing the cover, then checking it before it is wrapped and sent to you. No automated line, no middlemen.
The craft
We use linen thread, acid-free paper and water-resistant covers so your booklet survives years of daily use.
